Our JM16 4x+ (Junior Mens 16 coxed quad) came in third in the final, (Sean O'Brien, Jack Noonan, Ryan McKenna, Alex Chadfield with Daniel O'Sullivan coxing).
The JM15 4x+ came in second in their final, (Stewart Channon, Sean O'Brien, Alex Chadfield,Ethan May with Daniel O'Sullivan coxing).
JM Open 1x, single scull, Edmund Morrissey met some tough opposition and didn't qualify for the semi nor the final, but our JM Open 1x Liam McCarthy did qualifyfor the semi and the final but missed out on a placing in the final. Liam is currently trialling for the Irish National Squad. He made the squad last year, fingers crossed he'll do it again this year.
The JM Open 2x, double scull, qualified for the final but, again, missed out on a placing.
Well done to all who participated in this year’s Schools regatta.
