The High School CBS, Clonmel played in the Corn úi Mhúirí quarter final on Wednesday, the 21st of January against St Brendan's of Killarney in Mallow at 1:30pm.
The Corn uí Mhúirí is the Munster A Senior football competition and is traditionally dominated by teams from Kerry and Cork. This year the High School qualified from their group by defeating West Limerick Colleges and St Facthna's of Skibbereen to reach the quarter finals. Although the High School won the very first competition in 1928, it is not known when they last reached this stage so it is a magnificent achievement for the players and management team of Tony Gleeson and Dave Nugent. Read Match Report Here.

He then completed a German and Irish translation course in Galway. He will now take up his new position as a translator in Brussels in February 2015. We wish Johnny continued success in his chosen career.
