| In the beginning ... |
This photograph, taken at the ceremonial opening of the newly built and equipped Clonmel High School in August 1900, featured leading figures amongst local citizens who paved the way to the school's establishment and constituted the local Committee in financial support of the project. They were (left to right) :- John Magner, James Byrne J.P., J. Russell, Very Rev. Dean McDonnell, P.P., V.G., James White, Dr. R. O'Brien, J.P., and Alderman Thomas Skehan, Mayor of Clonmel.

High School Clonmel completed a double in the Munster Colleges tennis competitions at the finals held in May 1991 in Cork. The under 14 team defeated Patrician College, Mallow 4-2 in Division II Shield while the under 16 team won the Division 1 cup by beating St. Augustine's Dungarvan 4-0. |
