Ardscoil na mBráithre is a voluntary secondary school under the trusteeship of the Christian Brothers. As legal owners of the school, the trustees determine the ethos and status of the school and are the final arbitrators in matters relating to the school. In 1987, the trustees appointed the first Board of Management of Ardscoil na mBráithre and delegated to them responsibility for the conduct, management, financial administration of the school and the implementation of the Rules and Regulations of the Department of Education and Science. The Board is elected for a three-year term and consists of four representatives nominated by the Trustees, two representatives of the staff and two representatives of the Parents. The Chairperson is nominated by the Trustees and the Principal acts as Secretary to the Board.
