Some students complete Transition Year before beginning their Leaving Certificate Cycle. Most move straight into the traditional Leaving Certificate programme but the Leaving Certificate Life, Community and Work programme is also available.
English, Irish and Maths are of course core subjects. Optional subjects are French / German History, Geography, Classical Studies, Politics & Society, Music, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Economics, Link Modules, DCG, Construction Studies and Art. Students also have three non-examination subjects (PE, Religion and Education for Living)
