High School student Cillian Crowe is the proud recipient of the 2014 National German Essay Scholarship. He was recently presented with his award by his Excellancy, Dr. Thomas Nader (Austrian Ambassador) at a ceremony at his residence in Ailesbury Road, Dublin. Cillian wrote an essay titled ‘Eine Fahrt mit dem Heißluftballon über Österreich’ ( A trip on a hot air balloon over Austria). The scholarship comprises of air travel, tuition, board and accomodation for 2 weeks in the ISK-Internat Sprachkurse in Salzburg, which is a well known center for students of German under the patronage of Salzburg.
