School Show
- ‘Kiss Me Kate’ took place from Monday 21st to Thursday 24th October in the White Memorial Theatre. Huge effort was put in since the start of the school year by all involved especially by Jennifer Williams (Presentation) the director, Siohan Ally (Presentation) and Olga Gannon the musical directors. A huge thank you to all teachers and parents who volunteered to supervise show rehearsals and performances here in the school, in the Presentation and in the theatre itself. Thank you to those who supervised the disco on the last night. Thank you to those who helped the production in any way (Front-of-house, backstage etc.).
Guitar Lessons
- Two former students and teachers, Liam O’Reilly and Ian Purcell are continuing their guitar classes in the High School. They take place on Mondays and Thursdays after school at a cost of €7 euros.
Social –
Fundraising
- It is hoped to hold a sponsored walk involving all students and teachers and as many parents as possible to raise money to help fund the Book Rental Scheme. Thursday March 27th has been provisionally chosen as the date for the event. Any parents able to help in the organising of the event will be greatly appreciated.
- A concert will take place featuring Freddie White on Thursday night 1st of May in Eldon’s. All proceeds from the concert will go towards the planned Santiago Pilgrimage.
- We are planning to hold a Golf Classic in Clonmel Golf Club in May as a fundraiser to assist in the funding of sports and other-extracurricular activities in the school.
